Olympiada is a town in the northeastern part of the peninsula of Halkidiki, Greece.It is a municipal district of the same name, within the municipality of Stagira-Akanthos. Main occupation of its residents is tourism and fishing. Approximately700 meters from it lies the archaeological site of ancient Stagira. The area is declared as a protected zone by the Natura 2000 programme. Ancient Stagira is a place of great archeological interest, is popular as it is the birthplace of the Greek philosopher, Aristotle.
Today’s village, built alongside a beautiful beach, stretches in a bay of a natural harbor. It is surrounded by green mountains and magnificent beaches that attract a lot of visitors.
