One of longest sandy beaches that lies to the east of the canal. It is long and wide with shallow and warm waters, well-organized and family friendly; ideal for kids. It is one of the Blue Flag beaches of Halkidiki which provides lifeguard supervision and disabled access, too.
The coastline consists of a wide strip of sand. The beach is well-organized, with many sun-beds and umbrellas. Its blue waters are great for swimming. It counts on close hotels, apartments and room rentals, as well as cafes and beach bars. Nea Potidea beach also has many nice taverns with delicious fresh fish meals. The surrounding area is gifted with lush vegetation.
