Visit a winery at Marathousa
The vineyards at the estate in Marathousa are spreading across 110 acres, hosted by Greek and international grape varieties like Assyrtiko - Malagouzia - Chardonnay - Sauvignon Blanc - Syrah - Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot. Visitors will have the opportunity to walk through the estate's vineyards, visit the winery and the distinctive distillery in order to taste the quality wines and spirits of the estate, combining them with local dishes in the farm restaurant.
The Livadioti family knew that in this area, there were vineyards producing high-quality wines since ancient times. So in 1978, they decided to get involved and to bring back to light the prestige and reputation of the region in the winemaking. In the vineyards of the estate, spanning 110 acres are hosted Greek and international grape varieties like Assyrtiko - Malagouzia - Chardonnay - SauvignonBlanc - Syrah-Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot. The low yield per hectare and the organic cultivation, in combination with the modern mechanical winery equipment, result in the production of high quality wine.
